We use fiberglass loose-fill for our blown-in insulation materials. Fiberglass loose-fill has been used to insulate homes for decades. Fiberglass loose-fill is made of tiny glass fibers and is often installed in attics, insulate walls and crawl spaces as well. Fiberglass loose-fill is one of the safest & cleanest Sacramento insulation products available, with very little dust or settling, no harmful chemicals, fire-resistant & contains recycled content. Fiberglass loose-fill insulation is spun from molten glass into fibers. The glass is typically melted in high-temperature gas furnaces.
Fiberglass, rock wool & denim insulation batts are the most common types of Insulation batts available. They are safe to use & have excellent sound absorption (STC ratings) & fire-resistant qualities. Rock wool & denim batts have higher percentages of recycled materials but are much more expensive than fiberglass batts. Fiberglass & rock wool batts have better fire-resistant & sound absorption qualities than denim batts. All of the batt insulation products that we use are Green Guard Children & Schools air quality certified, recycled content certified & formaldehyde-free.
